Putting on the Gitchi-Gami Trail Association's 26th Annual North Shore Bike Ride & Roll supported bike ride takes a lot... a lot of time, a lot of support, a lot of volunteers! We are so grateful to all the volunteers and all the businesses who help support this event! Our friends at Castle Danger Brewery have long supported our work. This year they are supporting our trail event by providing a free drink coupon to the first 150 adult riders! They also provided this amazing prize drawing prize: A Castle Danger Brewery branded Virga 26 (26 liter multi-day pack) made by Granite Gear, two eco-friendly packet growlers, and two coupons for a free growler fills!! Wouldn't these be awesome for a trail ride, bike packing, a hike on the Superior Hiking Trail, or a trip to the BWCA?!?! We know we all have our reasons for participating in supported group bike rides. Some come for the scenery. Some come to support the work of the group putting on the event. Some to add to their tshirt collection. Some come for the PB&Js! We 💙this video of our pals Greg and Lori from a couple years ago at the ride. Greg was one of our biggest supporters, and we so miss him! We're pumped that Lori is planning to join us again this year in Greg's memory-- she'll get some big ups and downs, conquer some challenges, ride through the trees, and get glimpses of that big old lake!
