It's the final countdown... you know the Gitchi-Gami State Trail came in 3rd place in a similar USA TODAY 10Best contest... but now we get to throw our hat in the ring for Gooseberry Falls State Park!?! Heck to the yeah! We love that Gooseberry Falls State Park provides two access points to the Gitchi-Gami State Trail. In this park you can learn, camp, play, access ADA accessible trails, learn about CCC and WPA history, chase waterfalls, picnic, find tadpoles in Lake Superior "tidal ponds", and SO MUCH MORE!! Some GGTAers were down in the metro last weekend where things are really starting to green up and pop! While spring green up takes a bit longer up here, we like to say that April Showers bring May Flowers but they also bring Waterfall Season! We 💙 that this trail give so many chances for folks to see cascades trailside!! Our friends at the North Shore Explorer MN made a great "waterfall chasing" itinerary!🌊
Eight years ago some of us GGTAers joined Adam Malmanger at Spokengear for a kick-off ride for #30DaysofBiking !
